One of my favorite spots to watch the sunrise is the park during my morning walk to the train station.
Very close to my house there is a lot of nature and I even cross a mill when I do some running in the neighborhood.
When I walk the other way into the city center I love the look and feel of the old city, I always love to cross the Grote Markt with the Grote of Sint-Bavokerk.
Being on a boat in the Norwegian Fjords is a perfect place to find some ‘silence’.
The most meaningful photo I’ve taken this year is this selfie of my dad, brother and me in Berlin. Such a nice time to be together for a short city trip.

Walking through serene and quiet alleys on a busy Saturday in the city.
From most streets leading to the ‘Grote Markt’ in Haarlem you can see peeks of the ‘Grote of Sint-Bavokerk’.
Huge cruise ships in the tiny harbor of Stavanger made me feel really small.
I take a lot of photos from windows; from my own window at home or the views from hotel rooms.
For this week’s challenge I have an old photo, taken from the hotel I worked as an intern in Milan (back in 2008). I loved to see the mountains from the hotel, as this is a view I do not have at home in The Netherlands.
