Very close to my house there is a lot of nature and I even cross a mill when I do some running in the neighborhood.
When I walk the other way into the city center I love the look and feel of the old city, I always love to cross the Grote Markt with the Grote of Sint-Bavokerk.

From most streets leading to the ‘Grote Markt’ in Haarlem you can see peeks of the ‘Grote of Sint-Bavokerk’.

When I was walking through Naarden Vesting some time ago I found this small surprise on the wall of one of the houses, a Dutch poem called ‘this is what the wall is telling’.
I’m not a translator, but I tried to translate the poem into English for the non Dutch followers:
If this wall could tell what he heard and saw
but he says: look up and read this poem
for a moment forget who and where you are, just become
as light that you will lose your weight, float
through space and see what I see: there
there you are, somewhere in between the people
